Project
Holden is a car company with icon status, and proud history, bringing world class products to Australia. With the business rapidly growing, Holden needed urgent help in their facility to optimise floorspace usage.
Challenge
Holden was running out of bulk parts storage room in their warehouse. Closing and disrupting operations to move was not an option.
Fixing the constraint
The solution was to divide and consolidated 5000m2 small parts pick face into 2700m2 of double story mezzanine structure, to increase bulk parts storage in the existing warehouse.
Implementation
The project was delivered with zero downtime. The Holden team were ecstatic with the overall result and outcome of the project.
