Bayford
The Challenge:
Bayford were growing out of their aging facility and needed to look at moving or consolidating space within the same facility to continue their growth plans. They realised that by adding additional floorspace it would create a logistical issue with material transfer between levels which meant that they were considering alternative methods for storage rather than mezzanine.
The Solution:
Heighton was able to carry out an engineering review of Bayford’s facility and design a mezzanine floor that could be accessed via a goods hoist system for the ease of material transfers. This meant that Bayford could utilise the first floor for bulky items such as bumpers, cars and bonnets whilst freeing up ground floor space for small parts storage.
